SUMMER RECIPE – SKUNK BE GONE SPRAY

SKUNK SPRAY

Thought I’d share this with you today in order to make your summer more enjoyable

Those cute little black and white critters waddling across your lawn can also hide under your car or SURPRISE you as you step out of your car after an enjoyable evening out.

Yes I’m into aromatherapy but no thanks, that eau de peppi la pew is not one I appreciate.

I discovered that a handy spray bottle used daily does an amazing job of keeping those cute critters away

I bought a spray 12-16 ounce spray bottle at my fav dollar store. You may have to shop your number one health food store for a 15 ml bottle of sweet orange essential oil. It doesn’t need to be organic and it’s one of the least expensive essential oils.

Fill the spray bottle about 3/4 full with water. Drop in about 20 drops of the citrus essential oil.  Replace the spray cap.  Shake well and go spray all around your entrances, along your sidewalk and driveway and any other area of your property you wish – out back where the dog goes to do his/her business. Shake well before each use as the essential oil and water don’t stay combined.

I find I need to spray every other day and after a rain, not right before.

The 20 drops of essential oil is approximately 1 ml so that bottle is going to last you at least a month. You may use other citrus essential oils but I prefer orange.

Please check out my webstore for other tips and tricks or for your healthy, organic soaps. deodorant, gifts and much more
